Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between CloudMaSa Innovation Lab Private Limited ("CloudMaSa", "we") and the school or institution that subscribes to KalveeON (the "School"). They also apply to everyone the School gives a KalveeON account — staff, parents and students ("Users"). By using KalveeON you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

If the School has a signed order form or agreement with us, that document takes priority where it differs from these terms.

2. The service

CloudMaSa grants the School a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use KalveeON — the web app and the Android and iOS apps — for the modules in its subscription, during the subscription period. We may improve or change features over time; we will not remove a core module from an active subscription without notice.

3. Accounts

• The School creates accounts, chooses each person's role and is responsible for activity under its accounts.
• Users must keep their sign-in details private and tell the School promptly if they think an account has been misused.
• The School can choose to allow only one active device per account. When this is on, signing in on a new device signs out the old one.

4. The School’s responsibilities

• Have a lawful basis, including verifiable parental consent where required, for the personal data it enters — especially children's data.
• Keep the information it enters accurate and up to date.
• Send SMS and WhatsApp messages only for genuine school communication, following TRAI and WhatsApp rules.

5. Acceptable use

Users must not upload unlawful or harmful content; try to access data they are not permitted to see; probe, overload or bypass KalveeON's security; copy, reverse engineer or resell the software; or use automated tools to extract data.

6. School data

All student, staff, academic, attendance and fee records entered into KalveeON belong to the School. We process them only to provide KalveeON, as described in our Privacy Policy. We never sell them or use them for advertising. The School can ask for an export of its data at any time during its subscription and for 30 days after it ends.

7. Fees and payments

• Subscription fees are as agreed in the School's quote or order form, plus applicable GST, and are payable by the due date on our invoice.
• If fees remain unpaid 15 days after a written reminder, we may suspend access until they are paid. School data is not deleted during a suspension.
• Fees that parents pay to the School through KalveeON — including online payments via Razorpay — are a matter between the School and the parent. Questions about amounts, concessions or refunds should go to the School.

8. Availability and support

We aim to keep KalveeON available at all times and take regular backups. Planned maintenance is scheduled outside school hours where possible. Events outside our reasonable control — such as outages of internet, power or our providers — may interrupt service. Support is available by WhatsApp and email on working days, Indian Standard Time.

9. Term and termination

A subscription runs for the period in the School's order. Either party may end it if the other seriously breaches these terms and does not fix the breach within 30 days of written notice. When a subscription ends, access stops; the School may request its data export within 30 days, after which data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Intellectual property

The KalveeON name and logo, software, designs and documentation belong to CloudMaSa. These terms do not transfer any ownership. If you send us suggestions, we may use them to improve KalveeON without obligation.

11. Warranties

We provide KalveeON with reasonable skill and care. Apart from that, it is provided "as is" to the extent the law allows. Academic and administrative decisions — such as grades, promotions or fee waivers — remain the School's responsibility.

12. Limitation of liability

Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or reputation. CloudMaSa's total liability arising from KalveeON in any 12-month period is limited to the subscription fees the School paid in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

13. Confidentiality

Each party will keep the other's non-public information confidential and use it only for the purpose of this agreement.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For significant changes we will give schools at least 30 days' notice. Continuing to use KalveeON after the change takes effect means accepting the updated terms.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Both parties will first try to resolve any dispute in good faith. If that fails, the courts at Puducherry have exclusive jurisdiction.
